Motorcycle drivers honored their late friend and fellow member of the Live to Cruise motorcycle club Ólafur Símon Adalsteinsson, who died in a traffic accident in Reykjavík on Good Friday, by driving the route he used to take last Friday.
The bikers gathered in Hafnarfjördur, a neighboring town of Reykjavík, and then drove together past the scene of the accident on Kringlumýrarbraut and into central Reykjavík, Fréttabladid reports.
“We are pleased to honor Óli because he was our friend and had no enemies and did everything he could for everyone,” said Hermann Örn Sigurdsson, a Live to Cruise member and one of those who organized the memorial drive.
