A cycling race in which competitors are towed by their dogs, known as bikejoring, will take place in Krýsuvík in Southwest Iceland today.

According to Iceland Sled Dog Club, the 15-kilometer race is split into three categories: dog scootering with two dogs (a scooter pulled by two dogs), bikejoring with one dog and bikejoring with two dogs.
The event, which has been organized by Drag Dog Sports Iceland, has been authorized by the Hafnarfjörður municipality zoning and building division says permission has been given for the event, visir.is reports.
