On the occasion of Library Day, April 17, a BibQuiz (modeled on PubQuiz) will be held at the Nordic House in Reykjavík between 12 and 1 pm today. The quiz will be in Icelandic and one other Nordic language. All are welcome.

At Reykjavík City Library people can get a one-month trial library card for free today. In the library’s main building on Tryggvagata in the city center, videos will be screened where people discuss their favorite books. Employees will display their favorite books.
At the Ársafn branch visual artist and author Kristín Arngrímsdóttir will open an exhibition with pictures of her character Arngrímur apaskott at 1 pm and afterwards read from her children’s books about the little monkey.
