The number one spot is held by Fifty Shades Darker by E L James, translated by Ásdís Guðnadóttir. Reykjavíknætur (‘Reykjavík Nights’) is in the second and tenth positions in hardcover and softcover respectively and Yrsa Sigurðardóttir’s Kuldi is in third spot.

As reported earlier, 67 percent of respondents in a recent Capacent-Gallup survey stated they had bought books as gifts last Christmas.
