A crew from Belgian state television recorded an episode on the Icelandic horse last weekend. The crew went on a horse trip with Icelandic travel agency Íshestar and dropped by at horse breeding farms Kjóastadir and Thóroddsstadir.

The episode is part of a series on animal life in different countries, which is very popular in Belgium and aired at prime time, Fréttabladid reports.
The crew was eager to get footage of an Icelandic stallion in action and was introduced to one of Iceland’s most qualified stallions at Thóroddsstadir, Thóroddur himself. They were also interested in the Icelandic sheep.
