Bart Simpson Inspires Art Exhibition in Iceland

Icelandic artist Örn Alexander Ámundason opened his exhibition “Bartholomew” in Gel Gallery on Hverfisgata in central Reykjavík on Thursday, dedicated to his childhood hero, Bart Simpson of The Simpsons.

In a press release, Ámundason explains that in his youth, Bart Simpson was one of his main role models. According to the TV series, Bartholomew is Bart’s full name.

Ámundason is currently studying visual art in the Konsthögskolan art academy in Malmö, Sweden, from which he will graduate with a Bachelors degree next spring.

“Bartholomew” is open until August 20.
