The web editions of Morgunbladid and Vidskiptabladid both report today that Bakkavör Group has decided to downsize in the UK. One hundred employees in the company’s office in Lincolnshire will be made redundant according to a news release filed on the Icelandic Stock Exchange today.
According to Morgunbladid and Vidskiptabladid, the objective of the lay-offs is to increase efficiency and profitability.
