Luckily no one was driving Súðavíkurhlíð, road 61, connecting the village of Súðavík in Álftafjörður, with the town of Ísafjörður, when two avalanches fell on the road, yesterday afternoon.

The road has been cleared, but the police advise drivers to travel along road 61 with caution, dv.is reports.
