Autumn Exhibition Opens at Gallery Ágúst

By Iceland Review

Gallery Ágúst in Reykjavík opens its “Autumn Exhibition” today, which marks the gallery’s second anniversary. It is a group exhibition, featuring the diverse and brand-new work of five artists.

“A little tragedy at home on the range” (2009) by Hiroyuki Nakamura.

The exhibition consists of artwork of various media, photographs, mural and paintings on canvas, aluminum and wood, a Gallery Ágúst press release describes.

The participating artists are: Gudrún Kristjánsdóttir, Katrín Elvarsdóttir, Marta María Jónsdóttir and Steingrímur Eyfjörd from Iceland, whose work has been exhibited in the gallery before, and Japanese Hiroyuki Nakamura, whose work is on display in Gallery Ágúst for the first time.

Visit the gallery’s website for further information.
