With memories from the last festival still fresh, organizers of ATP Iceland have already announced the first headliner for next year: Belle & Sebastian will perform at Ásbrú, the former NATO base in Keflavík, on July 2 as part of ATP Iceland 2015.
“We very much look forward to playing ATP Iceland. We have very strong connections with ATP, and can’t wait to do another All Tomorrow’s Parties in one of our favourite places. We loved Camber Sands in 1999, and Minehead in 2010, so to do it in Iceland will be a treat. It’s been so long since we played In Iceland. It’ll be fantastic. We can’t wait!” Richard Colburn of Belle & Sebastian proclaimed in a statement.
ATP Iceland was first held to great success in 2013 with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds as a headliner and this year, Neil Young was the biggest attraction.
The 2015 festival will run from July 2 to 4 and ‘super early bird’ tickets are available now.
