“In recent years, a sense of desperation, hopelessness and anger within thousands of individuals; it is a situation that is bound to lead to continuing violence,” he continues on his blog on Eyjan.
“The foundations of Icelandic society are rotten; the justice system is bathed in doubt, and the government ineffective— – even ignorant. In a society where injustice, even pure criminality prevails, and where the government has surrendered to a situation they cannot resolve due to lack of understanding and courage among officials. Whether we like it or not, such a society is bound to see acts of vigilente occur,” he concluded.
