Artist Guides Visitors through his “Visual Symphony”

Icelandic visual artist Bragi Ásgeirsson and his associate, Sigurlaug Ragnarsdóttir, will give visitors a tour of Ásgeirsson’s retrospective exhibition “Visual Symphony” at Kjarvalsstadir Art Museum in Reykjavík tomorrow at 3 pm.

Ásgeirsson will also sign sold copies of his book that includes a host of pictures from his career and was released on the occasion of the exhibition. The book is currently available at a special discount price at the museum.

The exhibition spans 60 years of Ásgeirsson’s life, which curator Thóroddur Bjarnason has divided into four periods. “Visual Symphony” was originally only supposed to run through mid-November but has now been extended to early January, 2009.
