Iceland’s largest performance arts festival this year is artFArt, visir.is reports.
From August 1st to 31st, 23 pieces will be performed, thereof four from Britain. Performers are 130. The festival is partly sponsored by the City of Reykjavik.
Among performers are Theater Company Vér Mordingjar, Dance Company Hnod, Brite Theater, Cobra Kai, Bottlefed Ensemble and Choreographers Sigridur Soffia Níelsdóttir and Snaedís Lilja Ingadóttir.
In addition to the dance and theatrical performances, improvisation nights, seminars with Iceland’s foremost performance artists and workshops are on the schedule.
