Art Exhibition of Mobile 3D Carvings

An exhibition by Ingibjörg Helga Ágústsdóttir entitled “Mál er að mæla” (“It’s time to speak”) is currently running at the Mosfellsbær Art Gallery. It features carvings in 3D inspired by Icelandic folk stories, many of which are mobile.

The artist will be in attendance on May 26, June 2 and 9 from 12 to 5 pm, and June 16—the last day of the exhibition—from 12 to 3 pm to tell visitors about her artwork.

The exhibition is held in collaboration with the Mosfellsbær Art Gallery and Library, in which the gallery is located—the artwork is linked to books in the library. It is the last in a trilogy of exhibitions aimed at reaching all age groups.
