Anza, subsidiary of Icelandic telecommunication company Síminn, recently bought part of IT company TietoEnator.
At the same time, Anza founded a new Nordic IT company, Sirius IT, which will take over TietoEnator’s operations in the information technology field. Mbl.is reports.
Sirius IT will employ 420 people and the company’s turnover is estimated as ISK 5.4 billion (EUR 63 million, USD 79 million). The company will develop and repair software systems and offer IT-related information and services.
Public institutions in the Nordic countries will be among the company’s customers. Sirius IT will cooperate with manufacturers of information technology, such as Oracle and Microsoft.
