Annual inflation now 8.1 percent

The consumer price index in Iceland has gone up by 8.6 percent over the last 12 months, and 2 percent over the last three months, according to the latest figures from Statistics Iceland and reported by Morgunbladid online. This is equivalent to 8.1 percent inflation over the course of one year. This is in accordance with forecasts by the Icelandic banks.
