Icelandic film production company Caoz has reached an agreement with Hungarian and Polish film production companies Lichthof Productions and Se-Ma-For Produkcja Filmowa on the making of a full-length animation of Icelandic Viking Egill Skallagrímsson.
The film is expected to premiere in 2010, Morgunbladid reports
Also in 2010, Caoz plans to release an animation of Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, based on Snorra-Edda. In the past, Caoz has produced animations like Anna and the Moods and The Lost Little Caterpillar.
