Icelander Valdís Óskarsdóttir won the BAFTA for best editing for the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on Saturday at the British Academy Film Awards.
In her acceptance speech, Oskarsdóttir said that she didn’t know what to say because she didn’t expect to win the award. Oskarsdóttir, who was born in Akureyri, has worked on numerous films, including “It’s All About Love”, and “Finding Forrester”.
