Thousands of people are using the chance to get out of Iceland after flights have resumed to all destinations except Heathrow. This also gives the thousands abroad the chance to come to the country. In some cases people have been stuck for days in foreign cities.

Because of the ban in recent days some delays may be expected but traffic is expected to get normal again soon, especially after flights from Iceland resume to Heathrow airport in London but they have been cancelled.
