All Fuel Companies in Iceland Raise their Prices

The price of fuel increased at all oil companies in Iceland yesterday as a consequence of a rising world market price of oil in combination with a weak ISK. One liter of gas and diesel oil increased between ISK 3 and 7 (USD 0.03 and 0.07, EUR 0.02 and 0.05) per liter.

According to 24 Stundir, one liter of gas at N1 now costs ISK 168.70 (USD 1.77, EUR 1.20) and one liter of diesel oil ISK 186.60 (USD 1.96, EUR 1.33). One liter of gas is ISK 1 higher at Skeljungur (Shell Iceland) and one liter of diesel ISK 1 lower. Olís has the same price as Skeljungur.

At Atlantsolía one liter of gas is priced at ISK 168.10 (USD 1.76, EUR 1.20) and one liter of diesel ISK 185.10 (USD 1.94, EUR 1.32). Orkan, another self-service gas station, offers fuel at a slightly lower price than Atlantsolía.
