The dispute between the representatives of the airline Iceland Express and its former CEO Matthías Imsland has been resolved; the airline has withdrawn its claim that he embellished the company’s books and was fired for doing so.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the airline’s representatives said that they called Imsland in for a meeting after the dispute arose in which he provided sufficient explanations to the items that led them to believe he had not been accurate in his entries to the company’s books, ruv.is reports.
The claim was made in the airline’s injunction against Imsland for allegedly using confidential information in the establishment of a new airline, which is set to offer flights between Iceland and Europe in the spring of 2012.
