Immerse yourself in the wonders of African culture at the African Day Festival, taking place today, Saturday June 26th.
Among scheduled activities are African dance, percussion workshop, belly dancing, an Icelandic-African rapper, Afrikaans tutorial, African mask- and games tutorial for children.
The Festival will take place in Reykjavik’s city center, at the corner of Hverfisgata and Vitastígur from 12 pm to 8:30 pm.
The event is hosted by a volunteer-based organization called Worldwide Friends.
