Russian millionaire and owner of football club Chelsea, Roman Abramovich, is expected to land in Iceland today.
According to Morgunbladid, Abramovich is not hunting for young football talents, but has come as the prefect of Chukotka-County in Siberia.
He will be accompanied by Kamil Iskhakov, representative of Vladimir Putin, Russia’s president, and a delegation of officials.
The Russian guest will meet with Icelandic President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, visit the power plant in Nesjavellir in southwest Iceland, visit the engineering firm Hnit and study the operation of the Blue Lagoon.
