More tourists have flown through Keflavík International Airport than the record breaking last year, even with 48 days of the year left, turisti.is reports.

In the first ten months of 2013, 2.4 million people passed through the airport, 400,000 more than during the same period last year and 30,000 more than during 2012.
Isavia, the company which runs the airport, expect 2.7 million passengers to pass through the airport this year, that would be a 15 percent increase.
