“The Hidden Planets of the Elves” on Display

By Iceland Review

The photo exhibition “The Hidden Planets of the Elves” by Danish photographer Kim Linnet opens September 21 in Gallery Gel on Hverfisgata 33, Reykjavík, and will be open for three weeks.

The exhibition is comprised of nine large photographs, 100 cm x 51.2 cm in size, shot in Reykjavík, Snaefellsnes and Reykjanes peninsulas. The photographs represent nine planets, planets which have always existed but are usually hidden like Iceland’s elves.

Each planet is a montage of over 50 digital photographs, merged together with a special computer program, enabling the user to create a 360° panoramic view.
