Visual artists Hye Joung Park (right) and Karl Ómarsson (left), whose styles have been described as different as a snail and a bee, will open a combined art exhibition at gallery Sudsudvestur in Keflavík, southwest Iceland, today.
Park and Ómarsson have worked together before, but this is the first time they have combined their efforts to create an art exhibition, as reported in a press release issued by Sudsudvestur this week.
Their work is described thus: “The territory of the spectator is interrupted with a strong presence. [The artists] work purposefully with the language of the picture and a lot of thought has been put into the way it is displayed.”
Park’s and Ómarsson’s art exhibition will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons until February 25.
