“Let’s Talk Christmas” Premiered

Entertainment company Kradak will premiere a new Icelandic show entitled “Let’s Talk Christmas” on November 15. The show spotlights Icelandic Christmas traditions and is especially geared towards tourists.

The star of the show is Icelandic ogress Grýla, the mother of the 13 Yule Lads who used to have naughty children for dinner. Grýla tells spectators about herself and her family, mixed with stories of holiday celebrations and traditions in Iceland, both modern and old-fashioned.

The event will take place at 2 pm at Tabasco’s – Mexican Bar and Grill on Hafnarstraeti 1-3 in central Reykjavík every day between November 15 and December 31.

Admission is ISK 1,800 (USD 14, EUR 11), half-price for children aged 12 and younger. Refreshments are included.
