“Flashers” on internet go after young girls

Police in Ísafjördur, in Iceland’s Westfjords, are investigating reports of unknown men revealing themselves while chatting to young local girls on MSN with a webcam.

These unknown men, or man, allegedly use a pseudonym to approach the girls. They then begin chatting with them and ask whether they can use a webcam. When a connection has been established, the men, or man, in question use the webcam to show the girls their naked bodies. RÚV reports.

Police in Ísafjördur have asked parents to pay more attention to what their children are doing while using the internet.
