“Eternal Eruption” at Gallery SAFN

By Iceland Review

The exhibition “Eternal Eruption” by Ragna Róbertsdóttir and Birgir Andrésson is currently on display at Gallery SAFN in Reykjavík, which opened during the Sequences art festival October 13.

The exhibition evolves around volcanoes and their power, sound, color and texture, and also includes video installations by Spanish-Icelandic artistic duo Libia Castro and Ólafur Ólafsson.

One of the video installations is entitled “Processing Cod,” and can be watched inside the gallery, but Castro and Ólafsson also exhibit their work “Kitchen Choreography” outside on a wall during the Sequences festival, which ends today.

The exhibition will be open until November 11.
