“Epic” Iceland Eruption Video Major Online Hit

By Iceland Review

American photographer Sean Stiegmeier traveled to Iceland earlier this month to shoot his own pictures of the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull because all the other pictures he had seen were “mediocre.” The outcome is “epic,” as one viewer commented.

It took Stiegmeier some time to get to Iceland and then the weather didn’t play along, so he had to wait for four days for a clear view of the eruption site, as he explained on his website.

According to dv.is, Stiegmeier’s video slideshow has become a major hit on the internet. The pictures in the slideshow were taken in the course of a day and a half; the music is by Jónsi.
