“Compass Expedition” in Hafnarhús Art Museum

By Iceland Review

The entire family is invited to go on a “compass expedition” in Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús tomorrow at 3 pm to experience the exhibition “Parallax” by Elín Hansdóttir, which plays with space and the viewer’s senses. This is the last day of opening.

The expedition will be undertaken with the aid of the “educational compass,” a special guidebook based on a recently-released book by Guja Dögg Hauksdóttir’s on architecture for children.

By using the compass, participants will discover the secrets of the museum’s architecture and Hansdóttir’s installations with the help of light, proportions, perception, texture and material.
