“Business Factory” Established in Iceland

A new type of course called “Business Factory – Expressway for New Companies” was established by Klak Innovation Center and Reykjavík University (RU) last week, designed to help pioneers in business create successful companies.

The Business Factory is a practical course that begins with the creation of a business strategy and ends with the company getting up and running.

Apart from giving pioneers the opportunity to make their ideas happen, the course also offers them a chance to network with other innovative businessmen.

According to Klak, research indicates that lack of economic knowledge often hinders the growth and successful launch of innovative companies.

The course’s leader is Dr. Eythór Ívar Jónsson, an associate professor at the Copenhagen Business School, who is also the managing director of Klak Innovation Center and CEO and chairman of Seed Forum Iceland.
