The first song, ‘Bál’ (‘Fire’), from the debut album of a new Icelandic super group, Drangar, is out. The album is scheduled to be released in October.

The three members of Drangar: Mugison, Jónas Sig and Ómar Guðjónsson, are all well-established and popular musicians. Their collaboration began last February.
The album was recorded in three places, Súðavík in the West Fjords, (population 80), Borgarfjörður eystri, East Iceland (population 70) and in Mosfellsbær, a town in the greater Reykjavík capital area (population 9,000).
According to dv.is Drangar will tour Iceland in October and November to promote the new album.
