Foxes Increasing in West Fjords Nature Reserve

Last year it was reported that there had been a collapse in the Arctic fox stock in Hornstrandir nature reserve in the West Fjords. A multitude of animals were found dead and only a few cubs survived. However, now the fox stock seems to be recovering.

Tourists Trapped at High Tide in Southwest Iceland

Three tourists became trapped where they had camped on a grassy field by the shore at Tungubakkar in Leirvogstunga in Mosfellsbær, a neighboring community of Reykjavík, on Sunday morning. When they woke up at high tide at 7 am, their tent was surrounded by water.
