Die Oppositionsparteien zusammengenommen genießen hingegen nun mehr Zuspruch als die Regierung, nämlich 55 Prozent.

Reykjavík: DUI Offender Incarcerated

policecar_psLast night, around midnight, the Reykjavík Police received notification that a car collision had taken place, with the driver fleeing from the scene. The police officers were quick to find the offender at a nearby bar where he had decided to carry on drinking.

Not Much to do in Iceland for Construction Company

construction2004_ipa-sjoIcelandic construction company Ístak, one of the oldest and strongest construction companies in Iceland, is now finishing a large project at Búðarhálsvirkjun Power Station. The building project has been going on since the autumn of 2010, and will be finished before this Christmas.
