horse-winter_psYet another mare has fallen victim to abuse. Last week the mare, which was kept with other horses in the new stable area Kjóavellir in Kópavogur, was found to have a deep cut to its inner reproductive organs and another shallower cut to its outer organs.

German Film Festival in Reykjavík City Library

World’s Smallest Man Comes to Iceland

worldssmallestman_stod2The world’s smallest man, Khagendra Tghapa Magar, a 19-year-old from Gaglung, Nepal, arrived in Iceland on Wednesday. He is here to promote the publication of the book Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Iceland and greeted visitors to the Eymundsson bookstores in Reykjavík yesterday.
