Did Alistair Darling Try to Blackmail Iceland?

darlingOne of the documents that the Icelandic state use in their defense in the case that the EFTA Surveillance Authority is contemplating against Iceland, because of the Icesave-accounts, seems to indicate that the former Minister of Finance of Britain, Alistair Darling, tried to pressure Iceland. The letter, written on October 8 2008, by Darling to a secretary of the permanent minister of the Ministry of Finance, is considered one of the main proofs in Iceland’s defense according to Station 2, a television station.

Member of Althingi Rejects Björgólfson’s Claims

Where is the Luck?
