More Airlines to Fly to Iceland

The final schedule of many airlines has yet to be announced but Tina Birke, spokesperson for Air Berlin, has confirmed that the airline is planning to increase its presence in Iceland next summer with flights from Hamburg to Keflavík International Airport four times per week.

Two Assaults in Reykjavík on New Year’s

landspitali-hallgrimskirkja_domTwo men were brutally attacked in Reykjavík last weekend. The first was kicked in the head on the morning of January 1. He was admitted to the ICU of the Landspítali hospital but later released from the ICU and moved to a different ward. The condition of the other victim is considered to be life threatening.
