Man Injured in Explosion in North Iceland

tunnel-schal06_tbA man in his sixties was seriously injured in an explosion in a private house in Siglulfjördur in north Iceland yesterday. He was taken by ambulance to hospital in Akureyri and shortly afterwards by airplane to Reykjavík. He is being kept on a ventilator in the ICU of Landspítali, the national hospital.
