Die Durchschnittstemperatur der drei Sommermonate Juni, Juli und August, betrug in diesem Jahr in Reykjavík 12,2°C. Das macht den Sommer zum wärmsten Hauptstadtsommer seit den ersten Temperaturaufzeichnungen im Jahr 1871, so Meteorologe Trausti Jónsson.

Iceland’s PM Announces List of 20 Tasks

The new government, which comprises of new ministries and two new ministers while the overall number of ministers dropped from 12 to ten, will focus on 20 issues this winter, as Prime Minister Jóhanna Sigurdardóttir and her coalition partner Finance Minister Steingrímur J. Sigfússon announced yesterday.
