Four historians have presented their ideas for a turf farm hotel to the parliament’s Thingvellir committee, a living museum where tourists can travel up to 1,000 years back in time. The historians have founded a company to execute their idea, called Stórsaga.

Minister: Iceland to Lead in Climate Issues

Minister for the Environment Svandís Svavarsdóttir believes Iceland should be a world leader in adapting a new lifestyle to counteract climate change. Svavarsdóttir, along with Prime Minister of Iceland Jóhanna Sigurdardóttir, is attending the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, which begins today.
