Geothermales Heizen spart Milliarden

Verglichen mit den Kosten für fossile Brennstoffe sparte die isländische Gesellschaft im Jahre 2008 durch die Benutzung geothermaler Energie für das Heizen 57 Milliarden ISK (308 Millionen Euro). Das geht aus einer neuen Berechnung der Nationalen Energiebehörde (OS) hervor.

New Exhibition at National Museum of Iceland

The exhibition “Ása G. Wright – from Iceland to Trinidad” opens on the second floor of the National Museum of Iceland today to coincide with the release of a new biography about Wright, Kona thriggja eyja, written by anthropologist Inga Dóra Björnsdóttir.
