Lack of digital illustrators and textile designers in Iceland has prompted computer company CCP and fashion designer Steinunn Sigurdardóttir to help develop new courses of study at the Reykjavík School of Visual Art in cooperation with the Reykjavík Technical School.

More and More Icelanders Go into Default

The number of individuals in default has increased rapidly since the banking collapse last fall. Currently, around 20,000 people cannot afford their down payments and 7,500 other individuals will join that group in the next 12 months if no actions are taken, an estimate from Creditinfo Iceland states.
