Bevölkerungsschwund trotz Babyboom

In Húsavík, Nordisland, wurden im Juni und Juli genauso viele Kinder geboren wie in den ersten fünf Monaten des Jahres. Auch in Reykjavík erreichen die Geburtenzahlen neun Monate nach Ausbruch der Krise Rekordhöhen. Dennoch ist die Bevölkerungszahl Islands das erste Mal seit 120 Jahren leicht rückläufig.
