A group of Icelandic and foreign divers cleaned the thermal chimneys on the ocean floor of Eyjafjördur fjord in north Iceland last weekend for the upcoming diving season this summer. They are considered unique and have become a popular destination for divers.

Oil Companies Admit Premature Price Increases

Three Icelandic oil companies, N1, Olís and Skeljungur (Shell Iceland), lowered the liter price of gasoline by ISK 12.50 yesterday, admitting that it was premature increasing the price immediately after Iceland’s parliament passed a bill on higher fuel tariffs.
