Icelander murdered in El Salvador

An Icelandic engineer, Jón Þór Ólafsson, 37, was found shot to death in El Salvador on Sunday, reports Morgunbladid. Jón Thór worked as an engineer contructing a geothermal electrical power plant for the Icelandic company Enex.

National Theatre crumbling down?

The artistic director of the National Theatre of Iceland, Tinna Gunnlaugsdóttir, said that there was a “state of emergency” at the theatre because of lack of building maintenance. She said water was leaking onto the actors while on stage and theatre guests must step around puddles walking to and from their seats.
