In the next five years hotel rooms in Reykjavík will increase by 38% or by 800 rooms.
The five-day event consists of over 15 performances from variety of different styles, from contemporary jazz and the avant-garde to Latin jazz, to gospel and big bands.
The festival runs from September 29th to October 9th. Fifty movies from 26 countries will be shown at the festival; five European movies will premiere at the festival.
