Former chess great Bobby Fischer has finally received his temporary residence permit from Iceland. The Icelandic ambassador to Japan, Thordur Oskarsson, delivered the permit to Fischer a day after Fischer’s former bodyguard, Saemundur Pálsson, visited him in prison.
