Drivers are asked to take caution near Mýrdalssandur due to a sand storm, mbl.is reports.

The main roads to the south and west parts of country, as well as the West Fjords, are now passable again after snowfall and icy conditions in recent weeks.
Patches of ice have been reported over Þröskuldar in the West Fjords and Mývatn in the East, as well as snow cover and snow drifts on Vopnafjarðarheiði and Háreksstaðaleið, East Iceland.
