Three sheep that had been lost since the blizzard in North Iceland in September, in which scores of sheep perished, were found by the Grenivík search and rescue team during training over the weekend, ruv.is reports.

The sheep are from the farm Grýtubakki í Höfðahverfi.
In February it was reported that there are no plans to locate and dispose of the carcasses of the estimated 10,000 sheep that died in mountain pastures as a result of the autumn blizzard.
